2. Overview
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on our own servers. When you visit the site, technical data is automatically stored in server log files:
- IP address (anonymised)
- Date and time of access
- Page/URL requested
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
Storage is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision and security of the website). Log data is automatically deleted after 14 days.
4. Beta registration (email collection)
If you register for the beta version, we collect:
- Email address
- First and last name
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is used solely to send your beta license key and relevant product information. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us via email.
5. Google reCAPTCHA
To protect against automated abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3. It is loaded only after your explicit consent (checkbox). In doing so, data is transferred to Google LLC. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
6. Payment processing (Paddle)
For the sale and processing of payments we use Paddle.com Market Limited (Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom). Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record (seller) and handles payment, invoicing and sales tax / VAT. When you make a purchase, your payment data is processed directly by Paddle. We do not receive credit card numbers or full bank details. For more information, see Paddle's privacy policy.
The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
7. Local storage (localStorage)
We use your browser's localStorage to save your preferred colour theme setting. No personal data is stored and no data is transferred to third parties.
8. No tracking or analytics services
This website uses no tracking tools, analytics services (such as Google Analytics) or advertising networks. We do not use tracking cookies.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR) – what data we have stored about you
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) – correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) – deletion of your data
- Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR) – restriction of processing
